After church, instead of making it to the pool on Saturday evening, we headed into town to hear some Jazz at Jan Peek Square. We danced and bopped with the Peekskill locals. We headed to the Bean Runner (our first time there - we are usually Peekskill Coffee Shop regulars) for cafe related delights and a bit of play time in the play room. We headed back to the square for more music, but on the way we had to stop at Treat Station and watch the amazing model electric trains. Robyn played at the Thomas the Tank Engine table too of course. The place with bustling with folks getting ice cream and listening to music.

After a lazy Sunday morning and another bike ride for Robyn, we headed to The Paramount to watch "Babe the Gallant Pig" and enjoy popcorn. What a great time in that beautiful theater.

Robyn took to putting her whole face in the popcorn box. I just had to capture that silliness.

Then it was off to the Bruised Apple to browse and enjoy the music and the smell of old books. Robyn got a "new" book of course. And I picked up a copy of Arthur Miller's, "The Crucible".

We had to stop in at The Bean Runner again before heading home. Robyn wanted to enjoy the play room again. We took in some live poetry reading and then a bit of a Reggae band while she played. Then we headed for home and a quiet supper.

I think we live in the hippest town in Westchester.
